The “ber” months are well among us. And for most, that means quite a significant drop in temperature, “brr” months as some may say. And now that the winter season is here, aside from just layering up and keeping warm, you will need to take extra care of your skin, too. So to avoid dry, flaky skin that often comes along with the cold, here is a great homemade mask that you can easily whip up to help lock in some moisture now that you need it most.
Of course, having a regular routine of sunscreen, moisturizer (both day and night) as well as a good cleanser (just to cover the basics) should still religiously be followed.
Anyway, here is an easy recipe to add to the mix, at least once a week.
What You Need:
- 2 Tablespoons Yogurt (Plain)
- 1 Tablespoon Honey
- 1-2 Drops Argan Oil
What To Do:
Nothing beats an easy-peasy recipe, especially one with ingredients that you probably already have sitting in your cupboard. All you have to do is add your yogurt, honey, and argan oil into a bowl, mix, and you are done. You now have your very own homemade moisturizing mask.
How To Apply:
Before applying this face mask, make sure that your face is nice and clean. So wash it as you normally would and pat dry. Next, simply take your mask and generously apply all over your face and neck. Do so in a gentle, circular motion. Let it sit for a good 10 to 15 minutes. Rinse off with lukewarm water and pat dry.
Again, follow up with your normal skincare routine.
