Exfoliating Face Scrub

Posted by Be Youthful on

When it comes to getting soft and smooth skin, exfoliating should be a part of your beauty routine. It is great for getting rid of dead skin cells and other unwanted toxins and impurities that may have piled from outside pollution or even your makeup.
Now, unlike the other steps in your routine that involve protecting, cleansing, moisturizing, and toning, you do not and should not exfoliate every day. Once or twice a week should be enough.
Here is a great homemade exfoliating face scrub that you can make at home. It only requires four ingredients, and you probably already have these in your kitchen. So, let's go ahead and jump right in.

What You Need:

  • 1 Egg White
  • 3 Tablespoons Fresh Milk
  • 1 Tablespoon Brown Sugar
  • 2 Drops Rosehip Oil

What To Do:

First things first, you want to crack open your egg and separate the yolk from the white. Put the white in a bowl, add the milk and whisk away. When you have a relatively smooth paste of sorts, mix in the brown sugar and the Cacay oil as well.

Spead the exfoliating Cacay oil mask evenly on your clean and dry face and neck. You want to massage it in, but do so in a gentle way. Don’t press too hard or you might irritate your skin. Do so for a good three to five minutes.

Rinse off and pat dry. Remember, anytime you exfoliate, you should always follow up with a good moisturizer. Also, do not exfoliate every day. This is more of a once or twice a week kind of thing.
