When it comes to skin, one challenge that we face, or our face can face, is waking up to pimples that seem to have just come out of nowhere. Getting zits in your teen years is one thing, but adult acne is very real, too. Unfortunately, there really is no instant break-out-be-gone solution. However, this DIY Acne Fighting Mask will definitely speed the process along, soothe irritated and inflamed skin, and even help fade both old and new marks.

What makes this DIY acne fighting mask great is that it is so simple and easy to make, however, it is very effective and does yield good results

What You Need:

  • ½ Teaspoon Kaolin Clay
  • ½ Teasspoon Honey
  • 3 Drops Tamanu Seed Oil

When choosing oils, you want to make sure that you get ones that are ethically sourced and are100% pure and organic. You can trust our Tamanu Oil checks all those boxes.

What To Do:

Once you’ve gathered up all your ingredients, you are practically half way done. Yes, it is that easy. Take your Kaolin clay, honey, and tamanu oil and simply mix all the ingredients together in a clean bowl. Mix well. Keep on mixing until everything is combined together.

That’s it. You now have your very own acne fighting mask.

How To Apply:

As with any other masks, you want to start with a clean face. So wash as you regularly would. Then pat dry. Remember, ALWAYS PAT DRY. Apply your mask right after. You can use a brush if you would like, but your fingers will work perfectly fine as well. You can focus on your problem areas, however, you might as well cover your entire face.

Once your mask has been evenly spread, let it dry. You can let this mask sit for a good 20 minutes before washing it off and following up with the rest of your regular skincare routine.
