Because of it’s rosmarinic acid, oregano is actually anti inflammatory, anti bacterial, anti fungal, anti viral, not to mention that it is a great anti oxidant as well. So not only will this have you looking younger, but it will actually have you feeling younger too boosting your immunity and keeping you healthy.
Oil of Oregano has tons of great benefits too. You can take it orally to help battle a common cold. It's vapor is great for sinus infections. You can rub it right on your skin to fight acne, warts, and boils. You can even put it on your hair to help get rid of dandruff.
GarlicGarlic is another anti aging great fighting the war against wrinkles. It also boosts your immune system and does wonders for your digestive systems. Because it is also a natural anticoagulant, it is really good for the heart too preventing strokes and hypertension. Garlic can also help people who are dealing with arthritis as well. The thing about garlic though is that it is usually used when you sauté. However, if you really want to reap all of it’s anti aging benefits, then you better take it raw.
Garlic Facial Mask: You can also make your very own garlic facial mask for acne. All you need are about 5 cloves of garlic, peeled, minced, and smashed and one table spoon of honey. Mix well then apply on face focusing on where you have your breakouts. Let it sit for about 10 minutes- it may sting a bit, but that is normal. Then rinse with lukewarm water and pat dry.
Ginger Foot Bath All you need is about two teaspoons of peeled and grated ginger and about one tablespoon of mustard powder. Add both ingredients to hot water in a basin perfect for your feet. Mix. Then simply dip your feet in and soak for about 15 minutes. When done, rinse off with warm water and pat dry.
If you are too lazy to make curry, you can easily spice up your rice with tumeric. All you have to do is add one to two tablespoons into your rice water before you cook it and you will have some yummy yellow rice when done.
You can de-stress and deodorize your place by making some cinnamon potpourri. Just boil some water in a pot and add about 5 sticks or a couple of tablespoons of ground cinnamon and enjoy the rich, homey fragrance.
