Hair is the crowning glory. Just as it can make or break your entire look, there are hairstyles that make you look younger just as there are ones that actually age you. So put the old on hold and check out these great tips for your tresses on how to find just the right style to “CUT” years off your face.
Color is probably one of the best ways to give your hair a nice youthful boost. Of course, for the most obvious reason, dye can easily cover up gray or white hair. But even if you don’t have any of these aging strands to hide, be it full on or just subtle highlights, changing your color can change your age, for "the younger".
Do remember though that colored hair will need much more moisture. You can use shampoo that is sulfate free to keep the color from fading and the strands from breaking. Plus, don’t forget to condition, condition, condition. There are lots of products that you can find that are especially designed for colored hair.
But if you aren’t exactly dying for dye, then henna is a great natural alternative.
WARNING: You should know that you can’t dye over henna. It just won’t stick. So if you want to make the change from henna to dye, you will have to either have it stripped out at the parlor or just wait for it to grow till you can chop it all off.
When it comes to choosing just the right cut, there is no one answer for everyone. The number one thing that you have to consider before sporting a new style is the shape of your face. Remember, what is flattering for someone with a round shape may be a definite no-no for one with a face shaped like a heart.
But no matter what your bone structure is, even despite the kind of hair you have (straight, wavy, or curly) you gotta love layers. They frame your face taking up to ten years off. Plus, it can turn just about any boring cut into something trendy and stylish, not to mention that it really does give your hair more body and volume too.

Eyebrow grazing is great![/caption]
It’s bangs or botox, or so they say. When it comes to hairstyles that make you look younger, bangs always make the cut. They are definitely a great way to hide any fine lines on your forehead that, might I say, are not very fine at all. But there is much more to it than just chopping them off. You see, bangs that are too short can make you look downright silly. Eyebrow grazing is probably the perfect length, maybe a little bit longer if you want to do the whole side swept style.
Stuck in a “Hair Rut”? Get a fresh new cut! Nothing quite ages you more than sporting the same look year after year after year. But if you can’t seem to let go of your all time fave (although your really should change it up), you can still rock it but with a different shade, maybe some highlights, or a shorter length.
