Home Hair Treatments - milk hair treatments at homePLAIN AND SIMPLE PRE SHOWER HAIR SPRAY

It doesn’t get any more plain or any more simpler than this.

What You Need:

  • Half a Cup of Milk
  • 1 Spray Bottle

What To Do:

You have probably already guessed it. Simply pour the milk into the bottle and spray away. Keep on spraying until your hair is nice and wet all over- from root to tip. Let it sit for about a good 20 minutes for your strands to really soak up all the good stuff.  If you have really long hair, you could actually put it up in a shower  cap. After the 20 minute wait, go ahead and shampoo and condition as you normally would.
  • Tip: Be sure to massage the milk into your scalp too.

Now, if you want to mix and match, check out these other ingredients that you can add to make one of the best hair treatments at home that is sure to leave you with softer, smoother locks.

What You Need:

  • 1 Cup of Cold Milk
  • 1 Egg Yolk

What To Do:

First you should go ahead and pour the milk into the bowl. The egg yolk, sugar and olive oil go in a separate bowl. Mix these three ingredients well. Go ahead, wet your hair, and shampoo and conditioner as you normally would. Then rinse off with cool water (cold would actually be better). Take the bowl of mil and pour it over your hair. Comb through then let it sit for about 10 minutes. Again, if you have really long hair, you can put it up in a shower cap. After the ten minutes, rinse. Next, you want to take the second bowl of mixed yolk, sugar, and olive oil and massage well into your scalp. Again, let it sit for a good 10 minutes.  When done, rinse off with water and towel dry.
  • TIP: As much as possible, you want to avoid using the hair blower as daily use can really do some damage. Towel dry is still best, but avoid rubbing and yanking. Wrapping it up in a towel is the gentlest (hence the best) way to dry your hair.
