While the kids paint the eggs with food coloring, you can "paint" your face with the eggs. It’s time to get cracking, quite literally. For soft, supple skin with that radiant youthful glow, why not try one of these anti aging egg facial masks that you can whip up right at your kitchen?

Egg Facial Mask #1

What You Need:

  • 1 Egg
  • 1 Lemon
  • 1 Tablespoon of Olive Oil
  • A Pinch of Salt

What To Do:

First of all, crack the egg and separate the yolk from the white.  Take the white ad whisk away. Then you want to cut your lemon in half ( you will only need half) then squeeze the juice into the mix. Add the olive oil and the pinch of salt as well. Mix thoroughly.

When the mixture is ready, spread evenly on your clean dry face and neck. Let it sit for a good 15 minutes then rinse off with cold water. Pat dry.

Egg Facial Mask #2

What You Need:

  • 2 Eggs
  • 2 Tablespoons of Yogurt
  • A Pinch of Sugar

What To Do:

Again, like with the first recipe, take your eggs and separate the yolks from the whites.  You will only need the whites.  Add the yogurt as well as the sugar and mix until you have nice smooth substance. When ready,  apply generously  and leave for 15 minutes. After, rinse with cold water and pat dry.

Egg Facial Mask #3

What You Need:

  • 1 Egg
  • 1 Tablespoon of Corn Flour
  • 2 Drops of Chamomile Essential Oil
  • A Pinch of Salt

 What To Do:

And once again, you will only need the white, so crack you egg and separate the yolk.  Add the corn flour, mix thoroughly, then add the salt and chamomile oil too. Mix once more. When ready, apply onto you face and neck. Just as the other two, make sure that your face is clean and dry. However, unlike the other two, you want to leave this facial mask on a little longer. Let it sit for 25 minutes before rinsing off and patting dry. [caption id="attachment_1744" align="alignright" width="300"]Separate the yolks, you only need the WHITES... Why The Whites?

Egg whites are believed to help tighten and firm your skin,  slough off the dead cells, and give you that youthful glow. This will also help reduce the appearance to wrinkles and those (not so) fine lines.

WARNING!!!

You have to remember that eggs are considered an allergen to some people, so using this mask may cause skin irritation. Basically, if you can’t eat eggs, then you probably shouldn’t put them on your skin as a facial mask either. Egg facial masks aren’t advisable for people with sensitive skin either.
