Probably one of the reasons that the paleo diet is “selling like pancakes” is probably because you don’t have to give up any, pancakes that is. As long as they are both GRAIN and GLUTEN free, than you are GOOD TO GO. I personally love Paleo Banana Pancakes.
And I'm pretty sure you will, too. Here it is, the Paleo Banana Pancake Recipe- after all, when it comes to pancakes, isn’t the banana kind the best?
Paleo Banana Pancake Recipe
What You Need:
- 1 Banana
- 2 Eggs
- 4 Tablespoons of Almond Four
- ½ A Teaspoon of Gluten Free Baking Powder
- 1 Tablespoon of Honey
- 3 Tablespoons of Coconut Oil
What To Do:
What is so great about this recipe, aside from it tasting amazing, of course, is that it is super simple to make. First, peel your banana, chop it up a bit, and put it into a food processor. If you don’t have one, a blender will suffice. Then crack open the two eggs and add them into the mix. Whiz away until you have something like a banana slash egg puree kind of substance. Add the gluten free baking powder as well as the honey and give it one more go. You could also just stir these two ingredients in yourself though.
That’s it. Now you have you paleo banana pancake batter.
How To Cook:
Just like any other pancake, heat up your coconut oil in your frying pan, preferably non stick. Keep the flame on low, then pour a nice little circle of your batter on to the pan. Flip when it starts to bubble a bit, just a bit, or when it starts turning brown.
This recipe will make a good 4-5 pancakes depending on the thickness as well as the size.
What To Top:
You can top your paleo pancakes with just about anything on your paleo food list.
Cinnamon, berries, fresh fruits, grated coconut, bacon… Heck, it goes on and on. You can even use real maple syrup if you like, just make sure that it is pure and organic.
